The organisers are again indebted to all who supported and assisted in the 3rd edition of the Merthyr Mawr Trail Running Festival, which again was a great success.
There were many individuals and organisations whose help was invaluable in allowing the event to take place: Rory McClaggan and the Merthyr Mawr Estate; National Resources Wales; Phil Welch from Park Street Dental for sponsoring the children's races; Tesco Extra Bridgend for Goody Bag contributions; the One Ponder Sweet Company (Stewart Rae); Power Electrics (Bridgend); St John's Ambulance Medical Support; More Mile; OMG Catering; Merthyr Mawr Tennis Club; residents & community of Merthyr Mawr Village; the many accommodating local farmers that let us use their land and run the car parks; the photographers - Paul Stillman, Oliver Roche-Clarke, Chris Stewart, Alexa Kerr and Mungo McClaggan for the Drone coverage; Ocean Hughes Artwork; our massage team of Gavin Gates and Catherine Stephens; the entertainment provided by Porthcawl’s The Waves and the huge contribution from the large team of over 70 volunteers from the local running club community without whom the event wouldn't have been able to go ahead.
